-     Tonight, Varsity football hosts Pike Lib at 7:00pm.  Senior Recognition is at 6:30pm.  Come out and support our Chiefs!

-     SGA is participating in a relief effort to send essential supplies to Florida’s victims of Hurricane Michael.  They are due on Wednesday, October 31^st

-     JV and Varsity softball tryouts will be on November 17^th on Field 7 at Old Creektown Park.  If your daughter is interested in trying out, please remind them to sign up on the sheets posted on the girl’s locker room.

-     The Lakeside Chiefs will play South Choctaw Academy on Friday, November 2 at 7:00pm. It is a 4+ hour drive to the Mississippi state line and the bus would leave the school around 1:30pm. Students and parents are welcome to ride the 56 passenger bus. If your 7th-12th grader would like to travel to the game, we need you to contact the school by email or call Denise Corcoran in the office at 687-5748. If you and your younger child/children would like to ride the bus, parents are welcome to bring them along. The cost is $38.00 for EACH person. We must confirm the bus ASAP! Please come sign up in the office with Denise Corcoran as soon as possible!  When you sign up and pay, your money if non-refundable.  We also have tickets for the game in the office and they are $7.00 for everyone.  Please purchase them from us so our school will receive the money.

-     Don’t forget to pay your child’s class dues.  Checks need to be made payable to The Lakeside School.

      This weekend is our 50^th year Celebration.  We will have the following activities:

Tonight @ 5:30pm:  Tailgating in the courtyard.
Tonight @ 7:00pm:  Chiefs vs Springwood

Tomorrow @ 7:30am - Check in for golf tournament at the Eufaula Country Club
Tomorrow @ 8:30am - Shotgun start for golf tournament
The golf tournament is $200 per team. It is a 2 man scramble. Please contact Ben Garrison if you or your spouse are interested in playing!

Tomorrow @ 7:00pm - Party at the Eufaula Country Club. There are no “tickets” or admission costs to the party. We will provide food, and there will be a cash bar. The DJ will play from 7pm-11pm and we will  have other entertainment!

• Thursday, October 25^th is our Fall Festival.  If you volunteer to help your child’s class, you can earn parent volunteer hours.  We need baked goods for our cake walk.  Please bring these to the main office by 1:00pm on Thursday.  A flyer is attached with more information and an entry form.
• Make up school pictures will be on Monday.
• Don’t forget to pick up your Cash Giveaway tickets from Amy in the main office.  Tickets and money are due on Monday.
• Senior parents, on Monday Balfour will be here to give your student graduation supply information.

-     Dine to Donate will be Monday, October 15^th from 5pm until close at El Jalisco.  This is a great time to spend with your family while donating to the school!

-     Make up school pictures will be Monday, October 22^nd.
